Glider
Concept
For those unfamiliar with this style of surfboard, the Glider is an heirloom piece of surf craft. A must have for anyone serious about building a quiver of surfboards for all conditions. Riding the glider is an addictive experience from pop up to stepping off on the sand 800m down the point. The closest thing us surfers can experience to the ocean birds soaring along a swell line, the Glider taps into the same open water energy and pulls the rider along for the ride.

* Extras such as colour resin tints, timber tail blocks, double or triple stringers and floral inlays are priced in addition to the starting cost. These vary depending on the complexity of the design and are priced between $80-$200 each.

Small Waves
The Glider’s bread and butter, this giant board doesn’t need much wave energy to get going and will have you grinning ear to ear even when the waves are ankle high.Solid Waves

You’re best to leave your glider at home when the waves are 6 foot and barreling, but be sure to pack your Step Up Stage 2 Twin Pin. -
Recommended Size Range - 11’ - 12’
Fin Setup - Single fin to hold your high line
Rocker - Low rocker with an accelerated flick in the nose
Rails - Low and refined rail profile for holding a line tight in the pocket with a hard edge in the tail
